We invite filmmakers and researchers from all over the world to submit their movies on the highlighted topic of “Sustainable communities safeguarding natural and urban heritage” and to share with our audience your work. Like previous years Heritales will accept filmmakers of different backgrounds, working in natural, historical, archaeological, anthropological and social studies of past, presents and future sites, cultures and objects.
Authors are required to submit their film before the
1st of March 2022 1st of May 2022.
Starting from June 2022 until the 1st of September 2022 we will start to show the selected films until the 1st of September 2022.
At the end of September 2022 we will celebrate the award ceremony with the winners of the competition 2022 organizing 3 day residency for all the directors of the selected films.
We will contact the selected authors to confirm his/her participation on the final cerimony by the 1st of July 2022.
Rules for partecipating at the competition are described on the filmfreeway platform, there will be 4 categories:
- Short documentary (up to 20 min)
- Medium documentary (up to 40 Min)
- Long documentary (above 40 min)
- Animation (below 40 min)
The jury will take into consideration the cost of the production of the films. This is in order to establish a fair judgement conditions between all the submitted works.
